Within the framework of cooperation between the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), MARD and UNIDO have developed a Report on reviewing and recommending policies to promote production and use of biochar in Vietnam in the agricultural sector.
The content of the Meeting was to: (i) Present the policy review and recommendation report on biochar in Vietnam; (ii) Discuss recommendations and develop a network of policymakers, researchers, and businesses/cooperatives to cooperate in implementing policy recommendations related to biochar development in Vietnam in general and in agriculture in particular.
